All Of Your Worldly Possessions Are In Your New House So Get A Home Security System

February 18, 2020 by Dan Green

You’re buying a new house, and moving most of your worldly possessions into it.

It’s time to buy home security.

Home security systems protect your home from invasion; and, can save the lives of people and pets that matter to you.

They also protect against burglary.

According to the National Council for Safety and Home Security, homes without a security system are 300% more likely to get burglarized. And, 95 out of 100 burglaries require some sort of forced entry such as kicking in a door.

You can defend against this.

Today’s home security systems are inexpensive to install and cheap to maintain. They can be purchased online, or installed by a local security professional.

Both methods cost about the same, and today’s home security systems incorporate all of the following:

  • Doorbells with tiny, embedded cameras
  • Phone apps for remote home security management
  • Carbon monoxide sensors
  • Smoke detector sensors
  • Freezing water pipe sensors

Make sure, though, to purchase your home security system at least a week before your move-in date. Systems ordered online can take up to a week to be delivered, and scheduling time for professional installation can also take up to a week.

It’s best to have a home that’s secure from the start, from the day you move in.
